Format The program consists of 9 full-day issues sessions, opening and closing (*overnight) retreats at Camp Sea Gull, and meetings and/or activities averaging an additional 4 hours per month designed to "broaden your horizons."

Stand Out!

Admission

Up to twenty-six participants will be accepted for the class of Leadership Craven. The selection committe will review the applications and select the participants based on criteria which will ensure wide representation of the community. Notification of acceptance will mailed.

Tuition

Leadership Craven is funded by contributions from area businesses and by a fee of $600 per participant. The fee includes expenses related to the program, including overnight accommodations, meals and materials.Scholarships may be available.

Attendance Policy

To graduate from LEADERSHIP CRAVEN, attendance at the retreats and issue sessions is MANDATORY (please refer to attendance policy on the cover page of the application found on the New Bern Area Chamber of Commerce website). Only one excused absence is allowed. The second absence, for any reason, will result in the participant being dropped from the class. There will be no refunds.
